No 11 The Sound of Music 音乐之声
I’m greatly honored to have the opportunity to stand onto stage and outline my story of how music has had an impact on my previous life.
我很荣幸有机会站上舞台（并为大家）概述音乐是如何影响我之前人生的故事。
Two years previously, I developed a disease causing gradual blindness. In getting through treatment, a song relieved my ache. From then on, I fell in love with various music, including rap,hip-hop, techno, rock and roll, classical music and even musical scores in films. Music gave me energy, a sense of satisfaction and a relief and cure for my illness. Moreover, it touched my soul and spoke words of encouragement to the deepest part of my being. Thus I assumed that it was the rock I leant on.
两年之前，我患了一种导致逐渐失明的病。在经受治疗的过程中，一首歌缓解了我的疼痛。从那时起，我爱上了各种各样的音乐，包括说唱，嘻哈，泰克诺，摇滚，古典音乐，甚至电影配乐。音乐给了我能量，满足感，以及对疾病的缓解和治愈。而且，它触动我的灵魂，对内心最深处说出鼓励的话语。因此我认为它是我倚靠的（精神）磐石。
In addition to listening, I got absorbed in composing melodies played on pianos, bagpipes and stringed instruments. While composing lyrics, I appliedvarieties of rhetorical devices, such as simile, metaphor,repetition and personification. After I tried out as a performer but failed, I put effort into setting up a virtual choir which enables ordinary individuals with musical talent but without professional equipment and studio to perform alone on video.
除了倾听，我还着迷于创作曲调，这些曲子可以在钢琴，风笛和弦乐器上演奏。在创作歌词时，我应用各种修辞工具，比如明喻、暗喻、排比和拟人。在为当演员而试演却失败后，我努力去创办一个虚拟合唱团，让有音乐天赋却没有专业设备和录音室的普通个人能在视频中独自表演。
Nowadays, moved by my romantic idea, unemployed composers, award-winning conductors and chief singers ofbands are uploading musical performances onto my website, becoming a worldwide phenomenon. Filled with team spirit, we act as a whole, always aiming for glory. Altogether, our choir has issued 10 albums with striking qualities and our original compositions have received positive reaction of the audience.
如今，被我浪漫的想法打动，失业的作曲家，获奖的指挥家，以及乐队的首唱们都在上传音乐表演到我的网站，这成为了一种世界级现象。满怀团队精神，我们行动一致，总是以荣耀为目标。我们的合唱团总共发布了10张有着极高品质的专辑，并且我们的原创作品获得了听众的积极反响。
In closing, the outline of my experience proves that music is capable of influencing one’s life. I hope you’ll somehow begin to treasure music.
