As the graph shows, there’s no doubt that Earth is suffering greatly from greenhouse effect. According to comprehensive evidence submitted by researchers, global warming is mainly caused by the destruction of tropical jungle in the Amazon basin and high emissions of greenhouse gas, such as methane and carbon dioxide. This worldwide warming trend is responsible for the chaos of Earth’s sensitive ecology. It’s frequently broadcast that seals, penguins and polar bears starved to death for melting ice.

To decrease annual carbon emissions and keep our Earth habitable, China is implementing significant policies and undergoing comprehensive reform. Fossil fuels are restricted while a sustainable energy system, including dozens of nuclear power plant, has been built. An increasing volume of enterprises releasing smog are being closed. The government also advocates that individuals should live a moderate and low-carbon life, reducing carbon footprint.

With such campaigns in effect, China’s waterways are heading towards a sustainable future.
